Our taste are similiar. My kitchen is red (it took three coats as well). My new library is about the same yellow and my bathroom is a taupe type color. Love your color schemes. I allowed my wonderful husband to do all of my painting.....
Of course the rest of the fly story wasn't here when I posted the first comment. Sounds pretty funny to me. Of course chasing wild animals (or insects) in the middle of the night is my kind of humor.... remember the armidillo....
