SNOW DAY!!!!

I can not even begin to tell you all how wonderful this treat is to me!!! My school district doesn't have a busing system (except for the CDC students) so it is incredibly rare for us to have a snow day. Hadlee and I plan on enjoying it to the fullest! The only thing that could make our day better is having B here. Hope you are off too!

Ummm...it's gotta be about a foot or 2 of snow before we get a "snow day" in Illinois! I hope you enjoyed yours though! How much snow did you actually get?

We actually just have a dusting of snow ~ but apparently the roads were icey enough that it would have been a danger for the numerous students to walk to school. It doesn't matter to me ~ we're out!! There are only three schools in the entire district ~ less than a thousand students... it's nice and small.

Random and possibly too much info??

As much as I would love a day off, I do not want a snow day!!!!!! I'll just take a day of vacation, thanks!

I wish! It's a supposed to be a balmy 60ish degrees today!

Besides....I have too much work to do -- I'd come back so far behind!!

Snow? What is Snow? We had an ice morning last semester (went in at 10 instead of 7:55) but in Texas we just don't get snow days.

We had about an inch here and the kids delighted in it greatly. It's all melted off now.

I have had a snow day (here in Montgomery) twice in my life... once in elementary school right after Spring Break, and once when I was teaching at PCA. And that's pretty much the extent of any substantial snow we've had, too. I don't envy the mess the melting snow leaves though... that's my only downside to snow!?
