Progression is...

Hadlee going to her bed to "just sit on it" and falling asleep!!!!!!! WHOO~HOOO!!!! I must add that I did bribe her with a "Super Special Surprise Ballerina and popcorn from Target". Hey, a mom's gotta do what a mom's gotta do.

The past few days have been What in the name of all that is holy was I thinking by going into education? days. The way my students are acting you'd think it was the last week of May. I've paddled more times in the past three weeks that in my entire career.... and I'll contine to as long as it continues to work. Sorry to step on any toes ~ I do what works in my classroom... and what lowers my blood pressure!

Brandon had to go into work at 1:00 Wednesday morning. He had to drive through the tornadoes that ripped our mid-state apart... and I chose to stay with the babies at our house instead of going to my parents. I went to get Jack out of his crib and made a pallet for him beside my bed. This thought crossed my mind, "What do I do if I only have time to get one baby into the closet?" I can't tell you how gut-wrenching that was to me. Sleep was not had at all. Do any of you have fleeting thoughts similar to that? Is it just a stressed out, non-rested game your mind does in moments of panic?

It's consignment sale time in Coffee County. I just went through Jack's dresser for the first time last weekend. I had many moments of tearing up looking at preemie outfits and some of my favorites that were so cute. For some reason I thought it would be easier to go through his things... not so.

Have any of you ever bought from Kelly's Kids or ChezAmi? I have been invited to parties for both. From the looks of things I'm more attracted to the Kelly's Kids outfits... any suggestions on price v/s wear and tear?

Brandon has worked 40 of the last 48 hours. He's away from home (way up north near KY) for the next few nights. We're getting used to him being away during the week, but it's still no fun. I've noticed that Hadlee and I jive better; I guess she knows she can't give her Daddy her sad eyes and get every little thing under the sun... just about half of the things under the sun! :)

I'm attempting to pay attention to Lipstick Jungle, but not having much success so I'll go now. Happy Friday!
