Adventure # 23,235,789,327 may now begin!

Who reads this? No one? Ok, fine. Here's the scoop, obviously just for my records....

Halloween night I stepped on a remote, heard a crack, almost passed out.... at the time I was getting ready to have a week long consignment sale and just did.not.have.the.time. to go have my foot examined. Pain. RICE treatment. One week later (ish) I'm told I have a stress fracture in my left pinky toe. Congratulations! I am now the owner of a $275 boot. Wear it for 3 weeks and do a follow up. 3 weeks later... PAIN! (Don't ask me if I took it easy. I'll kick you.) Wear another week and here's a referral to a podiatrist. Podi says: Two more weeks. Two weeks later: TWO MORE WEEKS! (What?!?!?!) and FINALLY, this morning I was released from the &(mailto:$*&%5E@#$*&)^% boot. Yea!!!

Now the YEAR OF ADVENTURE may begin. So, what do I have planned????
Here it is (in no certain order):

*Train, stay healthy, injury free, toe the line and FINISH several sprint distance triathlons, two half marathons, and a 70.3 (a.k.a a half ironman).
*Teach English for 10 days in Linda Vista, Guatemala as part of a missionary team.
*Learn conversational Spanish.
*Raise enough money to get to Guatemala by starting a "For the love of Guatemala" line of creations: shirts, dresses, pants, purses, etc.
*Coordinate a 5k & 10k race to help raise money for Guatemala.
*Be a happy, loving, faith living child of God, wife, mother and friend.
*FORGIVE!
*Find little adventures in life each and every day.
*Save money by living well on less, couponing, and seeking deals.
*Make good food from locally grown, organic ingredients.
*Raise and can organic fruits and vegetables.
*Bake bread that looks, smells and tastes like bread.
*Love others more than I love myself.
*Find joy in every situation.

So my friends, there they are; my aspirations to make 2010 an incredible, joyful, adventurous year.
